Watch: Park Hyung Sik and Han Hyo Joo Flee Bloodthirsty People Infected With Mysterious Disease in New Teaser for “Happiness”
tvN has shared an exciting new preview of their upcoming drama “Happiness” (literal title)!
“Happiness” is an apocalyptic thriller set in the near future, in a high-rise building stratified by social status. The building is cordoned off when a new infectious disease emerges in the city, and the drama will describe the fear of the residents, the fierce psychological battles, and the desperate struggle for survival in the closed building.
The newly released teaser begins with a creepy glimpse of blood and a text message saying “Mom, I’m fine” that remains grimly unread. After her world shifts in the blink of an eye, a worried Yoon Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo) asks in a voiceover, “Can we go back? [to how things were]? “
As the clip shows flashes of people transforming after being infected with the disease, Jung Yi Hyun (Park Hyung Sik) warns, “As the number of outbreaks increases, this mindset will collapse completely. . ” Realizing that the sick develop an unsatisfied thirst for blood and are attracted by its smell, Yoon Sae Bom exclaims: “It is blood”.
Some residents of the building are trying to cover up the truth, suggesting, “All we have to do is keep our mouths shut and stick together and pretend it doesn’t matter.” As a result, the disease ends up spreading throughout the building.
Han Tae Suk (played by Jo Woo Jin) mysteriously remarks, “The question of survival is more important than a few people killing and tearing themselves apart,” while an upset Jung Yi Hyun tells someone off camera: ” If you are a human being, you should take at least a minimum level of responsibility.
