Newman Therapy Services patients see healthcare professionals in a new location

EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) – Patients at Newman Therapy Services have started seeing their healthcare professionals in a new location.
Newman Regional Health said it has officially moved its therapy services, an outpatient physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology facility. On Monday, August 23, patients began to be seen at the new on-site location at Newman Regional Health, 1201 W. 12th Ave., with an entrance through Entrance G. This is the old entrance to the ward. emergency room on the southeast side of the hospital.
According to Newman, the relocation and renovation project was funded by a fundraising campaign in 2020, as well as bond funds and a grant from Emporia Community Foundation Fund 79 specific to the pediatric therapy gymnasium.

Newman said its therapy services are operated by Mathis Rehab Centers, LLC, in partnership with The Health Network. Offering a range of physical, occupational, speech-language and specialty therapies for adult and pediatric patients, Newman said its therapy services provide one-on-one, personalized service.
