Nearer-average temperatures for Black Friday in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Good Friday, Utah! Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving meals and relaxing with family and friends while staying warm. We would expect a similar type of day with temperatures closer to average as the cold air begins to disappear under higher pressure.
This high pressure will again allow more sunshine as we will see mostly sunny to sunny skies in all our regions. Our highs for tomorrow will hover around the mid 1940s and parts of southern Utah might even see the 1950s and 1960s. accumulate.
It will start to become more noticeable throughout the afternoon given our very calm and stable air mass. Although the air quality has not been affected, don’t be surprised if you notice some degradation in the afternoon.
As evening approaches, a very weak push of cold air will move throughout the evening, but not enough to bring temperatures down significantly or to mix our air. Dry conditions will be what we expect throughout Friday, but also leading into the weekend.
In short, sweater weather will be in full force tomorrow for most of Utah and air quality will begin to deteriorate.
